Map Description

Your main job as a Labyrinth Caretaker is to prevent any adventurers from making it to the Minotaur in the center. (The silly buggers actually think they can steal his treasures!) If too many get through, he gains enough strength to cause some major problems. Make a Labyrinth worthy of the name and stop any would-be Minotaur food!

This is a solo TD with 51 levels.

Map Features

  • Level types include: normal, trap immune, magic immune, heavily armored and poison immune.
  • The multiple level types force you to vary towers to be effective. Tower types include: Normal, Siege, Magic, Trap, Blocking, and Other. These are just tower types, not the number of different towers.
  • Few repetitive towers. Tired of of tower x, tower x2, etc. Not in this TD. There are some upgrades like this, but most upgrades add different abilities or stats to a tower. One example is going from the explosion tower to implosion. The first is a short range area of affect, while this optional upgrade changes it to a long range heavy damage tower.
  • Instead of a given path, or a large open area that monsters travel on, there is a generic layout started and you fill in the holes to your liking. Any number of unique labyrinths are possible.
  • Never a dull moment. All levels are streamed, meaning no time in between. Not only does it keep you on your toes, but it makes sure there is almost always something you can be doing.
  • No 'uber l33t towers'. There is no one way to beat this, or one super tower to help you do it. Everything is balanced in a way that allows for different styles and replayability for trying new strategies.
  • Includes a custom 'Hedge' skin by me :).
  • Many other small quirks that help keep the game enjoyable!

New Features in 1.3!

  • Select your difficulty!
    • Easy: Units have 88% hp.
    • Normal: Same balance as before.
    • Hard: Units get +2 armor every 11-12 levels.
    • Impossible: Units get +2 armor every 5-6 levels... this means that by level 47 units have 49% damage reduction!
  • Map has been changed to 6 players with a new layout (an old v2 layout). It keeps people from building mazes so big the map 'breaks' and will help a bit in getting used to v2 when it comes out.
  • Changed some of the text commands.
  • '-reset camera' is now just '-reset.'
  • added '-zoom' which gives you a slightly more zoomed out view.
