Map-making
I started developing maps fairly young, joining Clan TDG in 2006. I've been interested in making games for a long time, perhaps first inspired by my ability to make maps with Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology, which gave me a simple editor to play around with maps. My first projects with WarCraft III were melee maps, but I first started learning to code when I began putting together "Azjol-Nerub TD."
Interest wise, I am most interested in design. Having primarily coded with GUI for many years, I decided a long time ago that it would be better to understand how to make simple rules that created interesting games then to bother learning how to code complex systems that were boring.
My Projects
Over the years I've worked on many projects. Many of them did not turn out particularly well, but each of them taught me a lot and were invaluable in coming to understand design. The following are the projects that I consider most valuable to me.
